Tap Into A Wealth Of Experience
In addition to my law degee, I hold a Master’s in Business Administration. That background helps me guide clients in the financial decisions involved with estate planning long-term care planning. I am a member of the Elder Law Section of th Florida Bar, as well as the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section. Since 2016, I have been board certified in Elder Law by the Florida Bar.

That culminated in my appointment by Florida Gov. Jeb Bush as Executive Director of the Statewide Public Guardianship Office in Tallahassee. As executive director, I was asked to advise and develop strategies for improving advance directives in Florida, and continued to serve in that role under Governor Charlie Crist. I also served two terms on the Board of Directors of the National Guardianship Association, including a stint as president.
I have served on numerous national and state work groups, and I’ve been invited to speak throughout Florida and across the country. One of my proudest moments was in 2011 when I had the privilege of testifying before the United States Senate Special Committee on Aging,
